Golf Push Carts
Critical Golf is currently testing push carts (or as we like to call them, “back and shoulder savers”). We are currently testing a group of three, including two of the latest to hit the market and one that is an update of one of the most historically popular carts on the market.
ClicGear 2.0
- Though the ClicGear has been available for nearly two years, these are just becoming more commonplace on the course and in stores. It is the smallest of the group when collapsed, though tips the scales as the heaviest in our group. Not the most intuitive to fold and unfold, but has the look of a very well built device with a modern look. You can even purchase an optional shoe brunch which attaches to the cart – very handy!
The ClicGear 2.0 is available in 8 colors (Kiwi, anyone?).
Folds up to 13” x 15” x 24” (4680 cu. in.) when folded up, and is approximately 18 pounds.

Sun Mountain MicroCart
- The newest in the Sun Mountain lineup of push carts, the MicroCart is a step in a completely new cart direction for Sun Mountain. The MicroCart features solid foam tires and four wheels that add to overall stability. By far the lightest in the group, it folds to a size just a hair larger than the ClicGear 2.0. We’re glad Sun Mountain isn’t resting on its laurels. For MicroCart comes in 4 different colors.
Folded dimensions are 12” x 16” x 24.5” (4704 cu. in.), and is approximately 12.5 pounds

Sun Mountain Speed Cart V1
- Been around the longest of those we are testing, and one of the most popular on the market. It is the only cart we are currently reviewing that has tires that require inflating (others are heading in the direction of airless wheels, which should require less maintenance). Probably the easiest to unfold/fold of the bunch, though at the cost of being the largest in size when folded. For those that like choice, the V1 is available in 7 different colors.
Folded dimensions are 13” x 16” x 37” (7696 cu. in.) and 17.6 pounds.
